2. What data we process and why

Orders: name, surname, e-mail, phone, delivery and billing address, order contents and payment. Reason: performing the contract and accounting obligations.
Photos of your pet: we use the photos you upload to create the portrait, the design for approval and the print. Reason: performing the contract.
Customer communication: e-mails we exchange about an order or a complaint. Reason: performing the contract and handling complaints.
News and discounts by e-mail: only with your consent. You can withdraw it at any time via the link in the e-mail or by writing to info@petska.cz.
Analytics and advertising: analytics and marketing cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) run only with your consent from the cookie bar. Without consent we only count anonymous visits without cookies.

3. Who we share data with

We only share data with those who help us fulfil the order, and only as far as necessary:

Stripe (card payments),
Vercel (website hosting) and Supabase (order database),
Resend (order e-mails) and Ecomail (contacts for e-mails sent with consent),
Kviktisk (canvas printing) and GLS (shipping),
OpenAI (artificial intelligence tools we use when creating the portrait),
Google and Meta (analytics and advertising, only with consent from the cookie bar).

Some of these processors are based outside the European Union. Transfers rely on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other GDPR safeguards.

4. How long we keep data

We keep order data for as long as accounting and tax rules require and for as long as warranty claims can be made. We keep pet photos and designs for up to 3 years after the order is completed (in case of a complaint or reprint), then we delete them. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time. Data for sending news is kept until you withdraw your consent.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. You can withdraw consent at any time. Just write to info@petska.cz. If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) or the data protection authority in your country.

6. Cookies

Essential cookies are needed for the website to work (for example the cart). We use analytics and marketing cookies only with your consent, which you give or refuse in the cookie bar and can change at any time by deleting cookies in your browser.
