1. Who the seller is

These terms govern the relationship between the seller and the buyer when buying on petska.cz. A buyer who is a consumer also has all the rights granted by law.

2. What we sell

We sell pet portraits printed on canvas: portraits in historical costumes and studio portraits. Each one is made to order from the photos the buyer uploads. The canvas is stretched on a frame and ready to hang. Sizes and prices are shown with each product.

3. Prices

Prices are final. The seller is not a VAT payer, so no VAT is charged. Shipping and any extras (such as the express design) are shown in the cart and at checkout before the order is placed. You can pay in Czech crowns or in euros.

4. Order and contract

1. The buyer chooses a design and size, uploads a photo of their pet and adds it to the cart.
2. At checkout they choose delivery and payment and fill in their contact details.
3. Placing the order and paying forms the purchase contract. We send an order confirmation to the buyer's e-mail.

The photos must belong to the buyer, or the buyer must have the rights to them, and they must not infringe the rights of third parties. If a portrait cannot be made from the photos provided, we will get in touch and agree on another photo, or refund the full amount paid.

5. Payment

You can pay by card online, with Apple Pay or Google Pay (payments are processed by Stripe, we never see your card details), and when paying in Czech crowns also by bank transfer. For bank transfers we start working once the payment arrives.

6. Design approval and production

1. Within 48 hours of payment we e-mail the buyer a portrait design for approval. With the express design option we send it the very next day, including weekends.
2. The buyer can ask for changes to the design. Changes are free.
3. We only start printing once the buyer approves the design.

7. Delivery

After approval we print and ship. The portrait usually arrives within 5 days of approval. In the Czech Republic we deliver to GLS pickup points or to your address, to Slovakia to your address. The 40 × 60 cm canvas does not fit into a parcel locker, so it only goes to an address. Details are in Shipping and payment.

8. Withdrawal from the contract

A portrait is made to the buyer's specifications and personalised. A consumer therefore cannot withdraw from such a contract within 14 days without giving a reason. However, the buyer always approves the design first and we only print with their consent. If you change your mind before we send you the design, write to us at info@petska.cz.

9. Complaints

You can claim a visible defect of the portrait, meaning damage (for example in transit) or a faulty print. The look of a portrait that the buyer approved in the design is not a defect. We are liable for defects as required by law. A consumer can claim a defect within 24 months of receipt. Send your claim to info@petska.cz with a description and a photo, or by post to Farní 63, 753 01 Hranice, Czech Republic. We handle claims without undue delay, within 30 days at the latest. 10. Out-of-court dispute resolution

A consumer can contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, adr.coi.cz. For cross-border disputes, the European Consumer Centre in your country can also help.

11. Final provisions

We process personal data according to our privacy policy. These terms are governed by Czech law, without depriving consumers of the protection given by the mandatory rules of their country of residence. The version of the terms in force on the day of the order applies.
